vRemz
A semi-immersive social media application for memory storage and social sharing through VR and 360 photography
A group project for Managing Technologies in Digital Media (DSM 520) in M.S. in Digital Social Media @ USC.
With my teammates, I researched and studied relevant emerging technologies and pitched the idea of a social media application (vRemz) that leverages the powers of Virtual Reality (VR), Image Based Modeling, 360 Photography, and Cloud Storage. I utilized my technical knowledge and past work experience in app development to design the UX/UI journey and outlined the implementation plan. Data from a sample of 100 people across different demographics were surveyed to better understand the sentiments, potential opportunities, and weaknesses for vRemz.
This project included a business pitch presentation, a short business plan paper, and an extended business plan paper.
